At Be Well Counseling, we are dedicated to empowering our clients and helping them find a sense of self-acceptance, self-love, and inner balance.
We support individuals, children, and families with a host of different psychotherapy modalities including play therapy, Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Brene Brown’s groundbreaking work, The Daring Way, which addresses the power of vulnerability, healing shame, and building resilience, is core to our approach to mental health and wellness.
We believe that when individuals feel healthy, strong, and resilient, we can build healthy, strong communities that can endure today’s tremendous challenges.
Founder Colleen Kradel began Be Well Counseling over a decade ago. Our growing group practice now employs a growing team of psychotherapists who are here to support the families of Martinsburg, WV. With Covid-19, the practice has moved to an online counseling model and is now available to people across West Virginia.
Our practice is rooted in inclusiveness and strives to offer a safe space for all. The therapists on the Be Well team are social justice-minded and are devoted to creating an anti-racist, LGBTQ-affirming culture that honors diversity, equity, and inclusivity.

Our office is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Martinsburg.
The meeting space offers full privacy and an intimate environment during your appointment.
Should you arrive early to your appointment, there is also a spacious waiting room in the front.
